We are looking for an experienced Senior accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Senior accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate has experience collaborating and/or managing a team of accountants. Senior accountant duties include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable departments
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly and year end close
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly journal entries and related general ledger account reconciliations
  • Manage Fixed Assets and depreciation/amortization schedules
  • Responsible for timely expense recognition, payment of vendor invoices and documentation of all vendor related records including the annual 1099s preparation and filing
  • Support the monthly billing process as needed
  • Support daily posting of cash receipts and check deposits
  • Assist in preparation and timely regulatory filings
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal controls, policies, and procedures and the related documentation and record-keeping compliance
  • Provide responses and support for inbound departmental inquiries and ad-hoc analysis
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • Proactively identify issues and implement process improvements to streamline processes
  • Willingness to serve on cross functional teams to ensure continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality, while reducing costs.


  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of Netsuite accounting system preferred
  • Public accounting or audit experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with key accounting operations, including Order-To-Cash, Procure-To-Pay, Payroll, Fixed Assets, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Office software programs with strong abilities in Excel
  • CPA a plus but not required
  • Strong work ethic and effective organizational and management skills.
  • Self-starter, able to work toward a goal and set goals without supervision
