Yogasleep’s mission is to help individuals love how they sleep, feel and live every day! We are currently seeking a Product Manager to join our family. This individual will focus on our sleep category of products, managing every facet of our products’ life cycle. This exciting opportunity will work with a cross-functional team, including marketing, engineering, sales, corporate communications and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the consumer product roadmap, identifying assortment an opportunities for Yogasleep that align with the overall company strategy
  • Strategically plan and execute product strategy, from product concept to finished product through working with engineering, outside partners, and brand/creative teams
  • Conduct consumer research and translate insights into differentiated product opportunities
  • Develop market requirements document outlining target market, competitive positioning, and list of key product features
  • Be the product expert by understanding the needs of our consumer, as well as having a deep knowledge of the industry
  • Determine product costs and pricing targets based on product specifications
  • Create product specifications based on insights that solve the consumer need and meet costing and pricing targets
  • Collaborate with brand/creative team on all product-related content needs to create a differentiated and best-in-class product and shopping experience
  • Achieve product expansion and margin goals
  • Analyze department KPIs and understand what actions and tools are available to affect important company metrics
  • Manage third party relationships with suppliers/factories and ensuring partners exceed vendor metrics
  • Achieve sales results of new products
  • Manage product development expense budget and come in under budget for new products

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years product management experience in the area of consumer goods, preferably in the durable and textile goods space
  • Full product life-cycle experience launching products from concept to market
  • A background of leading projects through a stage-gate process, which ultimately launches competitive, profitable products into the market on time and on budget
  • Experience working with in-house manufacturing and outside contract manufacturing, both domestically and internationally
  • High attention to detail, including proven ability to document requirements and manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to take data, reduce it and make meaningful decisions for their product category that will positively affect company KPIs
  • Ability to execute methodically and think strategically
  • Superior presentation and written communications skills
  • A history of working with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to roll up his/her sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team win
  • Travel: Up to 25%
