When we think about the end of daylight saving time we probably only think of one thing… MORE sleep! That sounds fantastic, doesn’t it? Well, not so fast. While more sleep is typically a good thing, the sudden change can also put strain on your body, as it throws your whole sleep pattern out of whack!
Each year we move into Spring by turning our clocks ahead one hour. While we gain one more hour of daylight, we miss out on that precious hour of sleep. Everyone values their sleep, especially those already sleep-deprived parents with babies or children who are early risers. And, while getting enough sleep is important for everyone, the Monday after the time change can feel like the longest day ever.
